Frequently Asked Questions

Lagoon Safety & FAQ

Everything you need to know about our live alligator encounters, safety rules, and planning your adventure.

Absolutely. Guest and animal safety are our highest priorities. All putting fairways and observation decks are barrier-protected by heavy fencing engineered to Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation (FWC) standards. You can safely observe the alligators from elevated platforms with zero direct contact.

Yes, during designated hours and only using food provided by the park! We offer supervised 'Baby Gator Fishin' using bamboo poles, and 'Big Gator Food' where you can toss nutritional pellets from the feeding decks. All feeding is fully supervised by our staff to keep it safe for both you and the alligators.

Do not attempt to retrieve it under any circumstances! For safety, any ball entering the lagoon is a permanent hazard. Simply take a penalty stroke, play your next shot from the drop area, and ask the starter shack for a replacement ball at the end of your game. Replacement balls are free.

Yes, children of all ages are welcome! Gator Golf is a family-oriented attraction. However, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and handlers guide all youth encounters (like holding a baby gator for photos) step-by-step.

Yes. The redesign features paved walkways, smooth brick paths, and ADA-compliant ramps throughout the course, observation platforms, and restroom facilities, ensuring comfortable access for wheelchairs, scooters, and strollers.
